# Do you run a credit check when I buy?

Only if you choose Klarna Invoice or Klarna Financing. In that case, Klarna Bank may carry out its own credit check, which in some cases means a credit reference is taken. We have no insight into, or influence over, that decision, so questions about the credit check should go directly to Klarna.
